Anyone done MBBQ in December?

Has anyone done this in December and if so do they add any Christmas touches to the show and was the weather ok or a little to chilly for an outdoor bbq?

We did this in 2007. My DD (now 5) and DS (now 7) still talk about it. There were no Xmas touches that I recall, and we were fortunate with the weather. We wore shorts & t-shirts & a light sweater to wear back to the resort. Our entire trip that year (Dec3-13) was unseasonally warm weather, 75-80 every day! This also happened to us in Jan 2006, the unseasonally warm weather. We chose to go in Sept this year because we are afraid we will run out of luck!!

I've been wondering the same thing - as it looks totally fun (specially for kids) and the food looks yummy too! But I'd hate to have a ressie and then it turns out to be 40degrees that evening. No fun shivering while you try to eat.

I'm also curious to find out how difficult it'd be to get last minute ADR's, like if you wait till a few days ahead of time and see how the weather actually is. You don't hear a whole LOT about MBYBBQ so I'm wondering if that means it's not too hard to get into???
