Anyone done Boggy Creek airboat rides?

Would love to try it. But there are so many airboat places. Would love to stay near orlando and see some gators. This is goign to sound silly, but I want to hold one too. Can you do that here?
Any info would be great!

we just did it..very fun..very very very loud..like 5 helicopters landing so my 2 ye old and husband both bailed..but they give u great earphones....use a coupon. long leisurely drive there..we couldn't get on the next 2 rides were sold out..but its a nice area..they do let u hold a baby gator afterwards ...gatorland u can hold a bigger one and we saw 200 gators and only 6 on the airboat....

If you are just looking for a little gator interaction and are not stuck on the airboat ride, Gator Golf & Adventure Park on I-Drive might be worth a visit. We visited there in January, and you can see my photos and write up in my trip report:

We got to mini golf among the gators, feed them, have our photos taken holding a baby, and they also have daily shows there. With our Groupon, we got it all for $15 per person. They had an early morning golf special advertised there that was something like $4.99 per person (the feeding and the pics would be extra). In addition to the live gator, there's a huge fake gator that you can sit on and have pictures taken too. Lots and lots of gators here to see, and right on International Drive. If you are planning a day visiting the outlet malls, it would be very convenient to do.
