Anyone done a wedding or VR at the MK??

Not that it is in my budget at all! But i'd love to see some pics of one!

Where is Swan Boat Landing?? I can't think of anyplace like that? And how do they possibly have a wedding at 8am, and still be ready for park opening at 9am?? If i'm spending $25K on a wedding, i sure don't want a million strangers in the background! And i DON'T want to be rushed!

The only recent wedding at the MK was this one, but it was kind of a special case - held after the park closed, special arrangements were made, etc. It's not really the MK wedding they advertise on DFTW's site.

So far no one here has had a morning MK wedding at the Swan Boat landing since it became available again. The Swan boat landing is down on the moat/lake off to the side.

I think partly people are discouraged b/c the guest limit is something like 45 people and, as you say, you only have an hour before the park opens. Plus, you can't have your reception in the park, so it's kind of a hassle.

Reading his intro, he says Disney submitted them a proposal for $500K, which they obviously laughed at. "more than a normal wedding, but less than a 4-5star hotel wedding"??? I'm guessing $250,000

When i win $235 Million in Powerball tomorrow, i'm calling DFTW first thing monday morning!!

Before the morning wedding was available, MK was offered at night for a minimum of $50,000; however they had a ton of stipulations with having it as well Disney basically gets to decide when you get to have it.
