Anyone done a boat rental?

DF came up with...... wait for it...... A WEDDING IDEA!!!!!

He suggested renting surrey bikes around the boardwalk or renting boats around crescent lake in between our ceremony and reception

I have read a couple of things saying that surrey bikes are a bit of a work out and as it will be hot enough already I don't think it would be suitable for our guests nor me!

im sure when DF thinks of renting boats he sees me getting into a Sea Racer with him- i will be in my dress so thats highly unlikely, but thought of two pontoon boats as we will have around 13-17 guests. can these be rented at the boardwalk? if so how much?

Also wondered if we could bring on some refreshments?

Do the bikes/boats count towards the wedding minimum....or is it something you have to arrange separatetly on your own and pay for the day of?
