TATW will be that same weekend. Val & I are planning on arriving on Friday, October 1 and probably won't be going home until Tuesday the 5th.

Recently found some good airfare for this weekend on Delta (thanks to a WISH DISer for posting that on another thread!!!)

I sort of wanna hold out for Southwest, but $130 RT isn't too shabby of a deal...

I got a rock.

I think Delta must have gone up on fares from BOS>MCO in order to make up for such a cheap DTW>MCO price.

I got a rock.

I think Delta must have gone up on fares from BOS>MCO in order to make up for such a cheap DTW>MCO price.

Same thing for Hartford to MCO Jeff. The current fare is $436 for this weekend. I will be waiting for Southwest. As soon as Southwest releases their fares, Delta will lower the cost, at least that is what they have been doing. I usually take whichever is cheaper and has the best flight time for me. For 3 of my trips this year I am flying one way on Delta and the other on Southwest.

I wish my airfare would come close to $130.00. It is usually around $300 to $450 RT.
Heck on Southwest from Las Vegas to LA is $140 RT for the ABD trip. All the airlines are at that price or more. At least on southwest I don't have to pay for my bags.

Next month SW starts service non-stop Detroit to Denver and they are offering $89 tickets...

Do you fly out of DIA? We just got DS ticket for $269 roundtrip on Frontier for Sept 25-Oct 9. Includes 2 checked bags.

I'm doing the half relay, but intend on hitting the Halloween party on my trip. Anyone else doing MNSSHP on 10/3?

LOL! The thought of doing a MK course is still tempting, but I think I'll spend my time touring some.

I agree that would be a very long day! Are they letting friends & family into MK to cheer runners on? If so, maybe we could be your cheerleaders Todd? I'd wear a tiara!

Yeah, the late start will be a toughy for me....even with the time change from Colorado, it still is an hour before my bedtime !

Either a nap in the room or a snooze by the pool. Going at Disney speed for nearly 24 hours (4:30 am wake up time for the 5K and 4am return to room after party) is too much. Even for me.

But I have to think about a costume for the morning. They are 'encouraged'.

I have to figure one out for MNSSHP. I'm not sure if I want to go in the Princess direction or perhaps Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Hmm maybe a trip to Detroit might be in order this year.

No I fly from Aspen. By the time I pay for parking, a nights stay in a hotel and just hoping the passes don't close I try not to leave from DIA.
Last year it took us 6 hours to get home. That was it for me flying out of DIA. It is just so stressful. I wish I lived a little closer to Denver.

I plan on going back to sleep, not just a nap but sleep. When I was in Fort Lauderdale last year I went to sleep at the pool for about 4 1/2 hours. They had those queen size beds next to the pool and so I jumped in the pool then covered myself with a couple of towels and that was it I was out like a light.
I'm not sure if I want to wear a costume tho.
