Anyone do the Grand Gatherings options? If so, which one and what did you think of it?

"Grand Gathering Experiences

Gratuities are included. At least 8 persons in your party must attend the same experience. Each experience is operated on select days of the week. Experiences are subject to change and cancellation. Reservations for Grand Gathering experiences are required and can be made 3 to 180 days in advance. We did Tony's breakfast and it was great! The kids had a blast; we had Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy who each went around the room--we saw a couple of them more than once. Interaction was great; and then Mickey arrived for pictures with each group. It really was worth it. The only downside was that it was 10:30 by the time we were done, so you lose a bit of time at MK.

We did Illuminations and loved it. The desserts and viewing spot were over between France and UK right near the bridge between the two. We had a group of 11 and it is something that we would do again. :)

We did the illuminations one also. We had 15 people and we had a great time. You eat dinner at the Odyssey building. The dinner is fair every one will find something they like. Our server was not the best but I was trying to look on the positive side. Other grownups at the table were not pleased with her at all. They have a Dj and a woman to entertain. They kept the kids busy with stories, dancing, and putting on a show for the grown ups. That was nice because I had a moment to actually eat and not inhale. Then they got everyone on the dance floor and guess who shows up? Minnie and Goofy. They danced with the kids. It was so much fun. Then you could get there autographs before the fireworks if you wanted to. The view for illuminations was the best I've ever had. They have a couple tables set up with desserts and canned beverages. The desserts were the same at each table. I thought they were pretty tasty. I would do this again in a heart beat. It was one of the highlights for our group. It was our first night in the world so that probly helped with our enthusiasm.

I am so happy to hear these reviews!:cool1: We are planning a GG trip in Nov 2010 and I need to start talking with the family about what (if any) we want to do.

Any more reviews? :woohoo:

Me too! We are planning a group of 14 for May 2010 and I am trying to find info on grand gatherings. Anyone else with info?
