Anyone do soarin walkup at rope drop in late August 2016?

Hi. Just wondering if anyone went straight to Soarin at park open in the last two weeks of August, and if so, what was the wait time you encountered?

We rope dropped Test Track first, then at about 15 mins later we were at Soarin' which had a 5 mins line. When we got off, we were able to ride again with about a 10 min line. This was 3rd week of August.

Wait times for Soarin haven't been too bad with the 3rd theater opening up. It's cut down on wait times a lot

Yes, the 3rd theater has really helped.

We did on August 25. I'd say we had a 15 minute wait including the preshow

Thanks everyone! It sounds like someone wishing to do Frozen, Soarin and Test Track in the second half of August might be best served by using the Tier 1 FP for Frozen, getting there at park open and riding Test Track and then Soarin.

Yea your best bet is Frozen FP, then TT (single rider if all ages possible in your party), then Soarin

When I went to EPCOT on my trips this summer, I didn't necessarily make fastpasses there. I took advantage of EMH and went straight to Frozen. I got there 30 minutes into EMH and waited 45 minutes for Frozen. Then I went to Test Track. By this time it was 15 minutes into park opening. I elected to do single rider and pretty much walked right on. Then I walked over to Soarin, and waited about 20 minutes to get on the ride. This was about 30 minutes after park opened. Soarin hasn't had the lines like it used to have though. The highest line wait I've seen while looking on the app is 35 minutes. Now, one time the ride broke down right before we were going to fly. I assume the other theaters were still running. I waited in the theater for 30 minutes while they tried to fix it. When we got out finally, the line was a 90 minute wait. So, the addition of the 3rd theater has really helped a lot.
