ANyone do or have designs in Corel Draw format?

My husband just got a new printer & it came with a Corel Draw program. We are relatively new to all of this & he is fumbling his way right now. We want to print t-shirts up for our nieces & nephews for our upcoming trip on Thursday,(yes-1/17/08!) so I thought we'd try to just get a basic design with their favorite character & put the year on & be all set. However, he really doesn't know how to change a jpg or other type of design into a "cdr" format. SO if anyone has designs in that or knows how to convert another type of graphic to cdr, let me know! I know it is short notice for anyone to do a design for us, so I thought we'd be able to do it, but need this bit of help! Thanks for any tips or help you all can offer.
