Just wondering if CM for lunch was as good as dinner. We have done breakfast so we know what to expect for characters but we were wondering about lunch. I know that they only open lunch when it's during a busy seasons.(ie..Free dinning). Last year they were open for lunch during the FD times and was wondering if anyone ate their during that time and if they thought the food was good.We are going to take the last TS time of 2:40 and than go to the PPP.

We ate there last year for lunch during Free Dining and the food was very good - on the same level with dinner. It was not very crowded and there was a lot of character interaction. We really enjoyed it!

Have they already announced that CM's will be open for lunch during free DDP? If so, we'd be all over that!

We ate at CM before MNSSHP last year and it was by far the worst meal we ate the whole vacation. The kids selections were the same as always but there were very slim pickings for adults. I think the only meat was cold cuts. They didn't even have mashed potatoes out. It was terrible!! The character interaction was very bad too. They didn't even play the music and do the napkin twirling. :confused3
I may have just gone on a bad day. Even the hostess looked at me like I was crazy when I told here we had reservations she said "okay but we are closing" I should have listened to her and gone somewhere else. We have eaten at CM for dinner two times and we've always loved it.

What time was your ADR? Were they putting food away while you were their?

Our ADR was at 2:50. I didn't see anyone putting foo away or bringing food out. There were a lot of empty spots on the buffet. Maybe it would be better earlier?

Ouch! I didn't consider that the temporary lunch might not be the same as the dinner. Which is weird, since I did consider the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace buffet, but gagged when I saw it was, literally, lots of different kinds of noodles. Now, I love all kinds of noodles, but I just can't see eating fettucini alfredo, pad thai, and chicken noodle soup for dinner.

Thanks for the tip--even if they open up CM for lunch during our time frame (which seems unlikely), I think I'll stick with our original plans.

I was told lunch is only being offered 8/26 - 9/8, not during all of free dining. We have an ADR for 1:00 on 9/5, our arrival day.

We ate there for lunch on our last day during FD last year. It was essentially the same buffet as dinner, but I thought it did have more lunch type items (soup, sandwich). We had a 12:00pm ADR. Characters were good, and we enjoyed it. We love CM!

Here's a picture from lunch.

We were there Sept 23-30 last year. My triplets NEVER dress alike in real life, but it makes it so much easier to keep track of them in the parks. I loved the P&PP (went without the kids for a girl's weekend). Characters were fantastic and so was the parade and fireworks. It is as good or better than the MNSSHP. I did not see any other adult Tink, so you should get lots of attention. Have fun!

We ate there for the first time last year, and could only get lunch. We loved it!! Food was great, characters were great! We were able to get dinner this year, and are looking forward to it.

Book lunch and enjoy@!!!
