I noticed a lot of breakfast type items on the confirmed snack list and thought maybe we could do breakfast. lunch and dinner all on the DDP - without having to pay out any more money. Anyone think this is doable? I had originally planned to go buy cereal and milk to eat in the mornings and use the credits for water or a drink at the park. But I see cereal w/milk, pastries, donuts etc. I guess then I would just have to buy juice and water.

I did it at Gaspy's at the GF one AM simply because I wasn't hungry. I got a huge blueberry muffin and a bottle of water. :thumbsup2

We stayed last year at Pop and had a toasted peanut butter sandwich each morning at Everything Pop for .69! They sold 2 pieces of wheat bread for .69 and then had bowls with jelly and peanut butter next to the toasters! It was the best bargain of the week!

We were also able to use the snack credits of a box of Entennmans Donuts which was nice sometimes too! One credit for a whole box!

We do this at Animal Kingdom because there really isn't too much breakfast choice in that park. There is a cart right up the hill though and they have danish (cherry, plain), muffins (blueberry, apple cinnamon and chocolate chip...I didn't notice banana nut), bagels (cinnamon/raisin, plain)...etc. It was a good breakfast :) I think they had other things but since there were 7 of us...we all chose something different and shared. We added some bottled waters and we were good to go until lunch at the BBQ place :)

I did. We used the CS and TS meals for lunches and dinners since we could get our money's worth better and used snacks for breakfast. We were able to get a whole box of entenman's doughnuts at Pop Century for 1 snack credit which was great as breakfast or a late night snack and it lasted for 3 days since we are a family of 3.

We also got bagels, yogurt, and grab n go items in the fridge with snack credits. It was really easy. I'm not sure if the bakery items count as snacks though. I hope they do. I know only a few bakeries actually accept snack credits as a form of payment.

We also brought a cooler and filled it with ice whenever needed and it helped to keep milk, juice, etc. cold in our room without having to spend for a fridge.

Did it at the Main St. Bakery at MK. Muffins, fruit/yogurt/granola "parfait", sticky bun: each = 1 snack.

We did it in January at the PoP.. Got a whole box of doughnuts for 1 snack credit and it worked great, everyone could snack on these while we were getting ready to head out to the parks. Hopefully it will be the same in January again.

We did this our last trip (stayed at BC) and used the marketplace. Got doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, yogurt parfaits, or whatever we wanted each morning and it worked out great!

Bowl of fresh cut fruit fills me up.

DS liked a full breakfast meal, but it came with juice and a drink. They said I could get two juice bottles. Hey that covered us both.

CS meals are big enough, two can share a breakfast meal and then share a lunch meal. Use snack for add on the fruit or extra fries or something.

PS Yes you still can get the donuts as of last week. They go like crazy. As we checked out we had 8 snacks left so I got 5 boxes of donuts (to take home to rest of family who didn't get to come) and 2 grape bowls and 1 sliced apple bowl with carmel for the ride home.

I do DH and DS don't. I don;t like to eat a big breakfast and get weighed down walking around the parks. I grab a pice of fruit and that does me jsut fine. Also I bring a box of speical k to the rooom so if I am a bit hungier one am I have it there.

When we stayed at CSR last year my morning meal was a big honkin' cinnamon roll from the PM bakery. Yum, yum.

Did the same thing once at Pop's food court this year, but the cinnamon roll wasn't as big and was more "airy," if that makes sense, so didn't stick with me as long as the CSR cinnamon roll did.

Last trip at POP: 2 milks, 1 cinnimun roll and 1 "Other". Other was fruit or something else. Did it several times.

:thumbsup2

We did for 1 day at MK. We headed to Main Street Bakery and got muffins, bagels, mini banana loaf and a apple charlotte all for 1 snack each.

At POFQ we got a single serving cereal and milk for 1 sc. That was perfect for DD. We actually take our own cereal and use a snack credit for a qt of milk. They also had boxes of donuts for a snack credit. Basically anything $4 or less could be bought with an SC. We still ended up with 9 leftover sc at the end of our trip.

We stayed at POR and were use them. They had bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls and a variety of danish. You could get boxed cereals which was nice to have a small bowl of apple jacks for the kids to snack on while we waited for the bus. Especially nice for days that we were heading somewhere for breakfast and lil kiddos arent so good at waiting.

oh...and you can get fruit too.
