I want to spend a week on the boat yet I an not interested in the mexico one next summer....is there any issues to worry about? TIA

If you want to spend a week on the boat, then take the 7 day. We did a 7 day back to back last year, on the ship for 14 days and loved it!

drcpn7 - it sounds like you're saying you don't want to do next summer's 7 day since it's the Mexico cruise from LA ? Though I haven't done a back to back, I've read postings on this board where others have done so and I don't recall any issues. I suspect you could even keep the same cabin if it's available on both cruises when you book.

The only thing I might question is the quick repeat of the same ports. But, I thought about this myself - I'm doing a semi-back to back in December - taking the Disney Wonder 3 day and then getting on the Sovereign of the Seas 4-day at Port Canaveral the next day. Nassau is a stop for both of these but I've decided to stay on the Disney Wonder on Nassau day and get off in Nassau when I'm there with the Sovereign since it's the longer of the 2 cruises.

I asked a CM that question on the Wonder last year and her answer was yes, folks do that. Two days on CC in one week! but it's also a repeat of Nassau too. I do believe I have read you have to disembark and reembark but they try to keep you in the same stateroom if possible.

the only thing about back to back Wonder vs 7 days is you would miss all the different shows/activities. Can you hold off until the magic is back at PC? i know scheduling usually dictates but justa thought.

We have done a back-to-back on the Magic and it was just the best holiday ever! How great it was to get off the ship at Port Canaveral, and then get back on again - after a trip to Walmarts to stock up on clothes for the 2nd week! (Cheaper than in UK).
We left CC on the first Friday and said to one CM on the dock - "see you next week!" Hope to do another b-2-b next year. Didnt care too much for GC/Cozumel, but didnt spend much time there. If you can afford it - then do it! Nat:Pinkbounc
