anyone do a a waterpark first using hopper plus tickets?

We just bought 5 day hopper plus [3 options] passes.Since we arrive late the first day, it might be good to do a waterpark and not a main park. We ran into a problem a few years ago, that you had to activate a main park before you could use the plus option.
Is this still the case?Thanks

I don't understand that since the Hopper Pass & it's Plusses never expire. It shouldn't matter which you use first. I'd give Disney a call for clarification on this one.

I think the old Park hoppers included the water parks for a certain amout of days - like seven days - after you first used the pass at a major park. Otherwise, you could spend two weeks there with a five day pass.

We used our plus option first this past March at Typhoon lagoon on our 5 day hopper plus ticket. We did not have any problems doing this first before we went to one of the other theme parks.

Where did you get the five PH with three plusses?

Those were the old All-In-One passes. They had to be used first at a major park to activate them. Then they were valid for the next 7 days at any of the water parks. Those passes (and that system) were scrapped in 1999.

Now it doesn't matter where you first use the pass.
