Anyone decorating for Fall?

Yep, always do. I will pull my stuff out next week after the kids go back to school. I decorate my mantle with vines of fall leaves, pumpkins and gourdes. I decorate the kitchen with fall table cloth and basket of silk flowers. The porch is decorated with pumpkins and a stand up scarecrow. I put a few bails of hay out with a large scarecrow, potted mums in various colors and of course pumpkins. Then the closer we get to Halloween, I put up the spooky stuff.

I usually wait until mid September, that's when temps start to drop and it "feels" more like fall. But this year the cold(er) weather has come early, we are in the low 70's during the day and it's been raining for days! It's supposed to stay this way for another week, if the report I heard this morning is correct.

here in the deep south fall doesn't really feel like fall till the end of september that is usually when I used to decorate now all my halloween decorations go to the haunted house fundraiser we've been involved in for the last 4 years.

I haven't yet but I am thinking about it. It's my favorite time of the year,too.

My favorite fall decoration: hollow out pumpkins and pot mums inside (so that the flowers stick up out of the pumpkin) - very beautiful!!! (sometimes the pumpkins get a bit "mushy" on the bottom after a few weeks, so you may want to use an actual flower pot inside the pumpkin!)
