The ones with Timon and Pumba for the Wild About Safety campaign. There is the orignal button and then a series of 12 pins. We collected the original and 7 of the 12 when we were there in May.

How hard is it to find a complete set? Do they usually release them all at the same time, or over the course of a year?

This is our first attempt at a series, so any insight would be appreciated.

I'm not sure how they release these on the lanyards...

I got almost the entire set (for trading purposes)
on my last trip to DLR, but that was 2 months ago now...

I have the round logo pin if you happen to need that...
but the only other one I have left is the number one pin!

Try trading on PinPics.com... or on our trade board!

Good Luck!

I have a few to trade, maybe for any series 2 lanyard pins I need. I tend to collect the trade only pins. It is all about the hunt.

We were lucky enough to have gotten the logo and about 7 of the series at WDW in December. With some well timed eBay purchases and a couple of trades, I have the series completed.....except for the wild card pin that no one has ever seen or knows if it ever will exist. So, I'm waiting to frame the set until I know if they ever will create the A Rope Is Not A Ride pin.

I liked the series so much, that I now collect Timon & Pumba. Maggie

I still see them on lanyards, but don't pay much attention to them as I have them all, except that mysterious last one. ;)
I would not think they would be hard to trade for.

I was lucky enough to trade for all of the safety pins plus a great CM helped us find all of the trading cards of the set.

The mysterious last pin will probably not be made because I understand that there was some concern about it. The last card of the set (no pin) says It's a rope not a ride". and shows Pumba and Timon on the barrier ropes playing.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess we will try to find the rest in November before we resort to buying them on Ebay.

We only have to find #2 ( Don't stand up on the roller coaster)
and the button. I hope we make in when we go in Sept.

we didn't seem to have much trouble in completeing our set but from feb to may i noticed less safety pins out in may.

We were in Walt Disney World the first two weeks of May and never did see a Safety Pin. Trina really wanted to see one just so we knew what to look for but no such luck. I would have liked to find one too as a button popped off my pants and a safety pin would have come in really handy.
