Anyone collect Lenox stuff?

I don't mean just their Disney line, I mean any Lenox.

Today I was shopping in an antiques shop and I bought an angel figurine for Xmas. It's about 5.2 inches high and it's marked Lenox on the bottom. The angel has stars on it and the name on the bottom says "Star Giver". The angel has gold trimming. I understand that the gold on Lenox figures is always 24K gold- is that right?

Anyway, the price, and I kid you not, was $3.00!

I know it's got to be worth more than that!

I think the seller was a fool. But it works for me!

I have some Lenox peices. My mom and dad bought me the Nativity set my first Christmas away from home and then would send a piece every Christmas. I now have the complete set and I love it! I also have a bride and groom, mother and child, some animals, other Christmas figurines.

You got a great buy!

I have a couple of Disney Lennox figures, as well as animal Lennoxes. This year, I've become really interested in Lennox. It's really expensive, though.

Every year for Christmas, my dad buys my mother one of the Christmooses. (A Lennox Christmas Moose. )​

Wow, a Lenox piece for $3?! I collect the Lenox birds. Also, I have the lighted Christmas tree from Lenox with the little birds on it (about 16 inches high). So far I've only got 4 birds, but I asked for a few more for Christmas.

I have many Lenox ornaments I have collected through the years. One year I found a gift shop that had a couple older ones - and they went half price after Xmas. Once in a while I will go on Ebay and pick up an older one I don't have. No figurines though.

At the World of Disney NYC store, Lenox pieces are always on very high demand. They sell quite more than the Classic Collection.
