We LOVED Boma for dinner but we just can't fit it in for our next trip. Anyone have any reviews/comments about breakfast?? THANKS!

I really liked their breakfast. They give you complimentary "Frunch" which is a fruit juice mix. It was quite good. The breakfast is not as exotic as dinner but still very good.

im having the same problem too. i can get boma in for breakfast, but dont have any days left for dinner.

I liked the breakfast! There's a huge assortment of foods, although like a previous poster said, a lot of them are your standard breakfast fare, though there are several exotic dishes. I actually think this is one buffett where you can get your money's worth. I'm sure I ate my money's worth in pineapple and pap alone!!

Boma is our favorite breakfast spot and worth the visit whether you stay at AKL or not. Our family has had breakfast their 7 times during our past 3 trips. We love the pots of Kenya AAA, Frunch, stickey buns, pork tenderloin and custom omelets.

Boma for breakfast is a definite YES. It's the best around. Be prepared to be full and stuffed until dinner. Don't forget the Frunch !

Except for the delicious juice, I think it was about the same as any other breakfast buffet. I like CRT and Chef Mickey better, so far.

I've only had the opportunity to have breakfast there once, but I did enjoy it. I would say "go for it."

We loved Boma for breakfast! I had a muffin there that I wish I had gotten the recipe for, it was so good. We all enjoyed it and will definitely go back (although not on our next trip, because I want to try Fresh...we may try Boma for dinner, though).

I am NOT a buffet girl. I usually just hate them but, I LOVE Boma for breakfast. It is truly the best breakfast anywhere!

gotta agree w/Eeyore 2003. it was not the effort it took to get to AKL. will go back only if w/travelling companions who have never been.

We absolutely loved our breakfast at Boma! I ate so much, dh (the picky eater) ate so much, our boys ate so much, we definitely got our money's worth!

Although we love the character breakfasts (Chef Mickey's is awesome!) I actually did like the buffet without the characters, because I knew I could just get up and go to get a new plate without worrying that someone was headed towards us. It also seemed to me to be less crowded (maybe due to the lack of characters, the "far out" feel to AKL) and we had excellent service!

Our PS was at 7:30, and quite honestly, I really wasn't hungry the rest of the day!

The pastries are to die for, the made to order omelets delicious, the breakfast pizza was yummy, the Frunch is awesome, and the pressed pot was just perfect!

Even though our next trip we are planning to try a different resort for the stay, we are planning a morning at AKL to revisit Boma!

Definitely give them a try. They are very good.::yes::

Thanks for all the responses. We just found out that we will not be renting a car, so we will not do Boma breakfast THIS trip, but next summer we will. For those who are considering dinner, get there no matter what the cost! And don't be afraid to ask for recipes. I did and just got an email from our recent dining experience - can't wait to try them out. BOMA is our #1 restaurant at WDW!

We won't have a car either, but we are eating breakfast at Boma in Sept. Our plan is to go to the AK for EMH at 8 am and then head over to AKL from the AK for a late breakfast - around 10:30 am or so. We are doing this much later in the trip, after getting a chance to spend more time in the AK. The Boma morning, we're just returning to AK to do our favorites. Maybe this plan would work for you, too! :)

Thanks for the trip advice, but we don't plan on going back to AK until they add some rides or attractions that are interesting. Each of our past three trips we've gone and each time we've left scratching our heads asking why Disney even bothered - I personally that there is no repeat value in the place...The AKL however is a stunning property with a killer restaurant! I think we'll wait to we have a rental car to visit next summer. Thanks for the suggestions all!
