anyone cancelling Christmas ?

I still have not been able to get the dates of 12-26 through 01-02.
If anyone already has those dates and is considering cancelling, Please let me know. This is the first Christmas I have had off since 96 and I was REALLY looking forward to spending it at Fort Wilderness.

P.S. I forgot to say that Sundee is expecting us at the Campfire program during Christmas, She will be very disappointed if we dont show up.

I don't have those dates, sorry. However, I encourage you to call constantly. I had to call daily for two weeks in order to get all my nights on an AP rate for Thanksgiving. I did talk to a helpful CM who advised me to call first thing each morning. Apparently the cancellations go into the computer system overnight. So, your best chance at picking anything up is to call at 7:00am. Good luck. I was SO excited to pick up our last few nights. I have stayed at other resorts, but Ft. Wilderness is our favorite!

We have been calling at 7 AM sharp. Unfortunately nothing has opened up.
We have had difficulty recently with less than enthusiastic CM's at CRO. Things like, English being a second language. Plus they keep asking to update info that I know they already have and asking the same questions repeatedly. Seems it should be a simple process to add onto an existing ressie, It almost feels like they are stalling ?

I thought the same thing! But then I asked a CM and this is an introduction to their new computer system. Some of the CM's aren't too happy with it, either. Hopefully, they'll work some of these irritants out...

Keep calling!! I got the AP rate on two cabins with nothing more than persistance. (Different dates than you.)
