Anyone canceling ADR for CG on 9/22?

I am so upset at myself. On Monday I was up bright and early and booked my long awaited dinner at California Grill. Even though it was 6:15 am, I had to settle for 7:20 with the hope of being their for Wishes at 9. Well, today I had a shock when I saw my ressie on Saturday the 21st. I could have sworn I had made it for the night I actually wanted--Sunday Sept 22nd. I am so upset at my boneheaded self. I did have them transfer the reservation to a 5:20 time slot on the 22nd but that is not what I wanted. How could I be so stupid?

Is anyone out there thinking of canceling in that 7:15-8ish range on that day that could give me a heads up? I know that it would be a crap shoot to snag it but if I know, at least I can try. I am not sure now if I should just stick with my original plan of Narcossee and try to CG next time we travel or obsessively check reservations. Stupid, stupid , stupid am I !!!

I think you can go back for Wishes if you are eating there that night. I would check with the desk when you check in. I'm pretty sure I heard this before. Worth asking anyway. If you don't ask... the answer is always no.

I don't know how many are in your party, but I was just on ca grill's site looking at the menu again, and there is a 7:50pm for 9/22 listed as available but it's just for 2 people.

I read that you can take your receipt from that day and they will let you back up to see the fireworks.
