They have a current generation refurbished 64GB Ipod touch for $279 which is around the regular price for a 32GB. I was planning on getting the 32 for dd but now I'm debating on getting this one. I have never purchased anything from them before. Has anyone here, would you do it again or would you stay away?

I have purchased from them a few times. I have never had a problem. Sometimes the items are refurbs which is never a problem for me.

i have purchased from them several times and have never had any problems with them thats where i got my nook and i use it all the time!

They do not have any address shown other than their Internet link. They do not have any telephone number shown, even a toll-free number. And when I did a "whois" search it turns up that they are using a proxy.

So who are they?

Thanks for the replies. I have decided not to buy from them because after researching how much a warranty would be through squaetrade, I'd rather buy a new one with smaller storage. My dd has an 8GB now and wants the camera so I think a 32GB wil be plenty of space for her.

Apple.com sells refurbs and I believe they offer a 1 year warranty. We've bought several items for them and been very happy. The stock is always changing so if they don't have what you want now, just keep checking back.

I have bought smaller items off them frequently. However, they are often items that did not have great reviews like the bluetooth for my phone, also some 4 gig flash drives, flashlights.

An I-pad I went right to SAMS and got a good warranty. I want someone that I can deal with if anything happenes to it. That is a huge purchase and long term.
Too many issues with the contacts, not holding charges on past purchases to get a referb just because of bytes and gigs.

I buy from them every once in a while... if an item has not sold out, it usually shows up at some time on Bensoutlet. It's another site that shows up as a link on their page. I have never had a problem, they ship pretty fast and all items have been as described. (I have also ordered from Bensoutlet):hippie:

I had placed an order with them about 2 years ago and had nothing but problems with them. After they charged my credit card immediately for the item, I never received the item. I would email them and never get an answer to where my order was. They said it was in processing, it had been shipped, etc.,etc. Finally I contacted the BBB and disputed the charge with my credit card company and amazingly I got a response from their customer service that the order was being processed and would ship the next day. I finally received the item about 2 months after ordering. I won't deal with them again.

I have ordered several items from them including both paid and free items. I have always received what I ordered as described. I have never had any issues with any of the items either.

I did. I was very happy with them. My item shipped and had gotten damaged in shipping. I returned it to them and got my refund. They didn't have any more to sell me (I would have preferred an exchange). But still, I was happy with the service. I was a bit nervous to buy there but seems it all worked out. They offer freebies sometimes, too.

There was an interview with the founder in Entrepreneur magazine, after reading it I had decided I would check them out because they have frequent loss leaders and seem like a good company. I believe in people before companies!
