Anyone bring a Graco Metrolite on Disney busses?

We're not renting a car this time, so we'll be using Disney's bus system. My stroller is a Graco Metrolite. It's not huge, but not compact either. Will I have a problem with it on the bus? We're going in early Aug and I know it will be very crowded, so I just want to know what to expect.

Using another type of stroller isn't really an option for this trip. I need DS's carseat for the plane, and his carseat snaps into the Metrolite stroller. That way, I don't have to carry his carseat through the airport.

We have the Metrolite, too, and while I can't answer your question, I can't imagine it would be a problem... it's sooo lightweight!

Just know that whatever stroller you use you will have to fold it to board the bus.

We have gone to Disney when my first DS was 18 mo, 2.5, and 3.5. The first year we rode the buses with the stroller. We went in December so it wasn't always that busy.

OK - The next two trips we drove our rental car everywhere because we felt it was easier than bringing it on the bus. I remember hearing comments about "they should make a section for strollers in the back of the bus". It was also heavy carrying down the stairs along with our day bag. I was more bothered by the comment since it is not my intention to annoy other people. It is a quirk of mine...I care too much about what other people think".

Anyway, even if you drive a rental car, you still have to fold up the stroller to bring it on the Trams and the Monorail (sometimes, I'm lucky enough not to have to fold it up on the Monorail).

We are going again in November with our youngest DS, he will be 13 months at that time. We will probably drive until we no longer need to bring a stroller.

I think you will be fine.
