Or overplanning? We have a trip planned, Tuesday thru Sunday in September. Staying at CR Atrium Club. Well, we have been trying to plan park days, which we will only have four. We did the upgraded hotel because we will only be there four days, and it is not seven days of expensive hotel. Well, now I keep thinking that we won't have enough time. So I have been pricing adding days to our trip. It's $130 to change our plane tickets. Then the hotel. Well....it would probably be Ok if I could stay at a value. No chance with my DH. He's a resort snob and won't stay anything less than a moderate. So that adds another $300. Then the added days to tickets and food, which always gets ya. Why do I do this to myself?! If I could only leave well enough alone! :confused3

Ok, I know. Also just realized that if I add the days to the end of the trip, rather than the beginning, I actually end up with $75 in SW credit. Hmmm....

How would it effect your total if you stay the whole time at a moderate? Can you drop hopping? Or the waterpark plus feature from your tickets? Can you rebook with free dining instead? Or do you already have a package? In which case its probably too late to change. But maybe you can call to find out. Just asking b/c you said that you only booked the expensive hotel b/c you were only staying a short time.

If our focus of the trip is spending time in the parks, then we will stay at Pop.

If we want to spend a lot of time at our resort, then we stay at our DVC resort.

What are you planning to do for the 4 days?

Well, that is 1 day for each park, seems like enough to me. We are doing the same schedule Christmas week, we arrive on Tuesday afternoon/evening and hope to hit MK to see MSEP, then we have 1 day in each park and a couple of evenings at DTD before we leave for home on Sunday.

Now, we are staying at Pop with free dining, because we won't be in the room much those days and I'm not paying for an expensive room not to be in it. We love staying Moderate or Deluxe, but when you are only using it to shower and sleep, no way.
