Anyone bored and want to help?

If you are taking it back to the Car care centre there is a Hess station right next to it. Return to airport you can fill up at Hess DTD and it still shows full when you get to the airport, I always fill up there before coming home.

Quidco I priced up correctly, 10%. For August its 15%.:thumbsup2

That's right Wayne it is 10% - my mistake.
I have just used your link and put in dates of 30th Oct and 11th Nov. I am thinking that I would pick up the day after we arrive and drop off the evening before we go. We have a later arrival time and an earlier departure time.
The Chevrolet Equinox then comes out as £223, if I get 10% cashback on this, that then brings the price down to £201. Sounds like a good deal to me.:confused3

Now just got to psyche myself up.

I'm sure you'll be fine!

My dad coped driving a 7 seater people carrier and only drives a peugeot 207 sport at home. He's even said it's much easier driving in Florida than it is in UK.

Now I need to convince DBF of this since he turns 25 in November and won't need to pay a under 25 fee (unless it's changed) if we go again in the future :rotfl: It is much easier with a car, it'll be a big miss in September.

Hope you manage to get a good deal :goodvibes

SUV = taller. You have a better view of the road, helps boost confidence for driving :thumbsup2

yes, i guess im too blame for this thread what worries me is luke guessed so quickly!!!
thanks for all for telling her what i told her last night!!:grouphug:
the time u save and the stress u avoid for £200 mate, i wouldnt even consider it!! and good choice of CS for the first night:thumbsup2

not too sure about next year, but there was a fire at a east cost oil refinery when we was there .and there was a spike in gas prices. from when we stayed in vero to travelling back to Disney there was a $0.30 increase in a couple of days(and i was checking on-line as well). So sometimes if you prepay can be shielded

I think she means pre-paying at the desk, not in the UK. If I remember correctly UK price was £65 with extra driver, if extra driver is not required then £65 if too high for a tank of gas IMO.

I'd go for picking it up day 2 Joolz.

You don't feel 100% after the flight/time difference. You will already have had the excitement of arriving and the joys of immigration/airport/checkin at resort.

It will be dark aswell 6.30 ish end October.

Both times we used alamo at the car care centre we needed to call an hour ahead to be picked up.

All down to price for me, Karen has never driven out there and never will unless there is a reason I can't drive. I am not a good passenger in a car, I have to be behind the wheel.
If its around the cost of a tank of gas I pre-pay in UK. Last rental with Holiday Autos (July) I didn't as they wanted over £200:rotfl2: Next trip in Nov they are quoting £49 so I will.

Same for me! We've put Paula down as an extra driver three times, in case I wanted a drink, but she has never ever driven!! :lmao:

no mate thats just so you cant drink!!

i have driven a few times on earlier trips, since my back was playing up last trip i didnt risk it, but that was drug related (imagine getting pulled and being done for drug abuse (i take alot of precription drugs:rotfl:, but not sure if our "allowed" is the saem as theres, i know my gp had to change 1of my painkillers last time, as it was a banned substance in US.

I'm a bit confused as I just tried the price again and it came out as £22 more.:confused3 I followed Wayne's link, so could someone else try it for me please?

Chevrolet Equinox
Oct 30th - 11th Nov
Pick up Disney
Age 42

Sorry - just worked out that you must pick up and drop off at the same time or incur an extra charge.

I could get one slightly cheaper for 5 passengers, but I quite like a high vantage point when I'm driving.
