Just wondering if anyone has booked air for February? We have our condo booked but I'm waiting to see what JetBlue and/or Allegiant Air offer when they release flights. (Anyone know when Allegiant might release?)

Last time we booked around this time and were able to snag a $79each way from Boston direct to MCO. I doubt I'll get that lucky again, but guess I can keep my fingers crossed.

Just curious if anyone has gotten a good price for their flights yet?

I've got my flight to Florida booked for next year. We fly BOS to RSW (Ft Myers). We're leaving the morning of February 14th, and I paid $124 for a one way. I suspect the days of $200 R/T flights from BOS to FL are gone, and I am readjusting my expectations to $300 or even higher.

I'm still waiting to book the flight home, since currently Delta wants $599 for the ONE WAY that we prefer.

We've usually booked next year's flight by now, but the prices are way too high. At this point I think our plan is to wait out Jetblue.

By this time last year we had our airfare for our 3/1 - 3/12 trip booked, and we got it at it's lowest price. So far, things are seriously high for Delta and USAir, the only two carriers we can use out of our small local 'port for the same time next year. I've been punching in dates for the same 12 day period, Wed through the second Sun., for months nearer to the present and it seems like prices will get better as the actual date approaches. In the past we usually got the best rates about 3 months out and I suspect that will be the case this time, but I'll still jump on a rate $20 more than the most I've paid in the past as soon as I see it because I think that's what it's going to cost in the end.

Waiting here!!! :rolleyes1

My r/t is 734 pp - at Delta right now. I'm flying into MCO and flying out of Ft Lauderdale-

Crazy :sad2: :sad2:

But my friends just got a decent (not good, but decent r/t in November at $277 pp r/t)-- so I'm just waiting -- Jet Blue and SW don't release their fares this soon so I think Delta's not offering any good fares yet. We bought our tickets last July and got $177 r/t pp. I'd be happy with $277 at this point.

GOOD LUCK and if anyone finds good airfare for February please let us know!!

I am also used to booking ahead for prime vacation times we are planning to hit WDW. We did so for both 2005 and 2006 at 331 days, as soon as Delta released them. We got good deals too, and the airline had the benefit of holding onto my money for 11 months.

This year is altogether different tho. I looked at 331 days, but found nothing suitable. So I think we're just going to wait for JetBlue to release fares, since that would be our preferred airline BOS-MCO at this point anyway (I do miss Song!). We may just pony-up the high airmiles that Delta is asking for our dates, but I think we'll hold on a bit longer just to see what JetBlue and SouthWest come out with.

I got mine 2/17 to 2/24 & got a great price, though I really "fought hard" this year to find, them. I booked one way fares, & it was a smart move.

This is the first time, our flights, have quick stop overs. Normally I book direct, but the fares were outrageous, so I settled for cheap, with one quick stop over on each flight.

I only wanted to spend maximum $200.00 round trip, & I did just that. I booked (330 day) early, to get these fares, for 2 reasons, 1 the great fare, & 2 I know, that they will be changing the flights, & then I can change my schedules, to better times.

I was lucky with the flight coming home, Delta "there was" a time schedule change, & I called the airline, & they switched me to a later time (which I wanted) & a direct flight (which I wanted)

I would really like an earlier, time, to go down on my USair flight to MCO. I am carefully watching our flight. If they change the times, on my, 2:25 flight, I am going to see we can get on an much earlier flight.

That's my plan. These boards, turned me into a "Mastermind" :thumbsup2

Jet blue's flight will be out any day, as well as Spirit. We flew Spirit one way last year, & they were great.

Hope this helps

Patricia
