Anyone book a BWV 1bdr + studio and turn it into a 2bdr

Hi!

Has anyone ever booked a BWV 1 bedroom and studio and turned it into a 2 bedroom, if there wasn't a 2 bedroom available to be booked? I know there are no guarantees, but can you put in a note to request adjoining rooms through MS? Right now there are no 2 bedrooms and I thought we could book the two rooms and put in a waitlist for a 2 bedroom and if things didn't work out with getting the 2, we might get lucky and have our ressie linked together even though it would use more points. Trying book this for a boardwalk view right now, as I don't think our family would be great for all that "family togetherness" for a Grand Villa even though that's my dream vacation!

If there are no 2BRs at Boardwalk then there are either no 1BRs or no Studios (or both) as there are no dedicated 2BRs at Boardwalk. If you end up with a studio and a 1BR it doesn't hurt to ask that the two be together. You might get lucky.

If you were able to get a 1 bedroom and studio but not a 2 bedroom, chances are they are dedicated rooms (no lockoff door). Boardwalk has alot of dedicated studios & 1 bedrooms.

I agree, I've stayed at the BWV 4 times in the last 2 years and everyone of the stays was a dedicated studio. I was wondering if they even make them with a connecting door. (BTW--I love the dedicated studios, so I'm happy to get them.)

There is no connecting door and in it's place is a day bed:

FWIW, both times I had a Boardwalk View studio it was a dedicated one.

There are studios with the connecting door (also known as a lockoff). I had one in April.
