Anyone Been to Waves, NC?

Same time as us! We check in on the 5th! YAY! I hope the weather is nice! Do you usually go at this same time of the year? What has the temps been?

We go this same week every year. I'd say that the temps are mostly around 80 during the day but we have had record high temps that week over 100 and record lows of 50 or so. We only had one year when the entire week was a wash. It was about 12 years ago and a tropical storm/depression sat off the coast the entire week. It was rainy/drizzly and cold EVERY DAY! I don't think we ever even got out of our jeans and sweatshirts AT ALL! We still managed to have fun but we have NEVER had a week like that before or since - thank goodness!

Buy a steamer pot from local market or restaurant and have a seafood feast in your beach house!Go to wings and get big blow up whales for your pool,they will blow them up for you,adults and kids love riding them in the pool!

We usually go the next week - this year the 12th. We keep an eye on the weather for the two weeks prior and decide to pay for pool heat based on what the temp has been. It takes several days to get the pool up to snuff temp wise so we always call by Wednesday the week prior to going. Talk to your rental agency. The weather has always been good but not always hot enough to get wet.
