Anyone been to the Luau recently?

I am looking for recent reviews. I have read so many negative things about this, and I keep thinking that maybe they will have taken note and made some changes?? It just SOUNDS like such a great time and seems like it SHOULD be an opportunity for really good food. I realize that this hasn't been the case ... at least from what I've read in the past. Anything new going on with it?

Anyone have a GOOD experience???

We had a great time at the luau last year even though my DH was really sick that day and didn't eat anything. But we thought it was fun - even the corny beginning part of the show, as well as the fire dancer at the end. We had great seats - Tier 1 in the front row, center. I thought the food was totally fine, except that I was not impressed with the volcano dessert - great presentation, but didn't taste very good.

My prior luau experience was in 1978 - I was 12 and I don't really remember much, so I wasn't comparing last year's to anything.
