Anyone been to the Garden Grove weekend character breakfast?

How was it? We're staying next door and it seems convenient for a pool day. We're going to Cape May Cafe another day. Is it only a buffet on weekends? Thanks.

Great food and deserts at this buffet! Consistently good. Simple meet and greet by pluto and goofy.

My family loved this breakfast! It was almost empty (in December week before Christmas). They have an omelette station, multiple types of smoothies, kids area, and all the usual buffet stuff. It was cheaper than any other character meal and the kids saw Goofy and Pluto several times. This is on their list for must do place again this year. I thought the quality of the food was better than most of the Disney options.

We've done this several times, when we stayed in the swan on previous trips. I would rate it one of the best venues for character interaction and the food is great. Pluto and Goofy are always there for breakfast and on Sundays (at least in the past) Chip and Dale were around too. The chipmunks were trying to score each others autographs out in our book, goofy sat at our table and played with our son, pluto wanted him to scratch his tummy! The evening meals are also very good and the food we found excellent!
