I was just reading about this on the website......anyone done this? If so, what characters are there and what do they do? Is it worth doing?
We go Feb. 9-18th!!
DISNEY AND ME
From now thru 9/30/06, up to 6 guests per Disney Visa card can have a Cardmember exclusive Character Meet 'N" Greet at Innoventions West at Epcot. You'll receive one souvenir 5x7 photograph per valid cardmember account. Scheduled from 1:30 - 4:30pm, locations, characters and times may vary. "Disney and Me" is subject to availability and capacity limits.

I have you get your picture taken with the character's. At the time I went it was Goofy, Minnie and Donald. I think they change not sure how often. But you never know who is there till you go in. You do get a really nice picture too.

We did it last month while my daughter and her BF were in town for our annual Christmas week at Disney. Mickey was there for our photo session, and very personable too! Well worth standing in line for a few minutes!

It was great! I had Goofy and Minnie - they took a few shots and then one with my camera. When I picked out my free photo, they included autographs of Goofy and Minnie on the photo - really cute. Well worth it (the line, if any, moves very fast).

You show your card at the entrance - the CM will write down that last four digits of the card and issue you a coupon good for your free picture. You can review the photos and select your free one in the camera center by the entrance to Epcot - usally only takes about 10 minutes for the photos to be available.

We got Minnie and Goofy, it was great! The CM's took pics with our camera, and of course we got the free pic. Good deal!

I took two girls, 3 and 10 and they both said that the meet and greet was the best thing they did all week.

We had Pluto and Minnie. The pic was terrible, too late in the day (and on the last day of our trip) and we looked awful and tired... go as early as possible.

2 Questions:
Can we go every day & get a free picture each time? (in the hopes of meeting different characters each day)
Do we have to get the pictures there, or can we put them on the photo pass & choose/order the free one once we get home? (would prefer to have them sent home so we don't ruin them walking around the park or in our luggage on the flight home)

Definitely worth doing! We had Mickey and Donald all to ourselves. They were clowning around. Mickey stepped in front of Donald with DD and me right before a picture was taken. They took a lot of pictures and we could choose one for free! You have to choose the picture at EPCOT can't do it from home with he PhotoPass though. Well worth the time and the picture was great! :wizard:

You won't be able to choose the free one once you get home. You will have to take the voucher and get it at the Epcot photo shop. That is the only place you can get the free picture.

We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. We had many great pictures and I am sure that we had to get it that day before we left.

I had planned on doing this during our trip in Nov/Dec but was unable to. We're headed back to WDW 2/4-2/7 and were wondering if the photo session is still located in Epcot. If so, where in Epcot and what times are they taking pictures?

It's in Innovations West, and I think it's from 1-4. We had Goofy and Minnie, they were great! What makes it even better is you go in by yourselves, just your family. When we went, Christmas Week, there was no line!! We got the picture about 10 minutes after. Enjoy it!

Took my daughters the Sunday before Christmas at @ 3:00. Absolutely great, no line, private meeting with Minnie and Donald. Cute picture with MK holiday border. Definately a worthwhile perK!
