I just read about this, is it fun? Do they really sing? Are the Smore's kits worth the $5.00? And what movies did they show? Just curious. How about that petting zoo over there, is it worth the trip over? Thanks!

Yes it is worth it. We had so much fun. Yes they do sing and Chip and Dale come out for awhile. We watched Jungle Book. It was great.

It was fun even in the COLD!!! I think the s'mores kit is definitely worth it. As a matter of fact, I thought it was one of the best deals in "the World". The kids (DS6, DS9)seemed to enjoy themselves, but they liked tooling around in the golfcarts more!!!

I say do it!! Have Fun!!

The campfire program is a real Disney institution. My Mom has photos of our family there from the 1980's! They haven't changed it much, either!

The petting zoo has little goats you can feed. You can also walk through the giant barn where the trolley horses are, and there are pony rides for teeny kids. I remember peacocks too. Nice for young children.

We just did this a couple of weeks ago. It was cold most nights so we waited for the warmest night. I think it is worth it. It is free and the movies are top Disney pics. The night we went it was a double feature, Hercules and Lilo and Stitch. We brought our own marshmallows and skewers but I don't think the prices are too much for the snacks and smores kits. If you really want to see Chip and Dale, make sure you get there early, we were there at about 7:15 and saw them for a minute and they left. The kids didn't have a chance to get a picture w/ them. I would also suggest a blanket if you think you may want to eat picnic style or if you want to watch the movie lying down. There are wooden benches and bleachers otherwise. Enjoy!

How about the trip over from WL. about how long will it take and is the boat the way to go??

Does anyone have any idea what time this might be in April? I have heard 7:30 and 8:30. I am also curious how you get there from WL, we have a dinner reservation at WC at 5:40. I hope we will make it there in time.
Thanks.

Are there alot of people usually there? What are in the smores kits and is one kit enough to split between 2 children? How is the character interaction?

We have been and it's a ton of fun!! The character interaction was great. It wasn't too busy when we went, I think it was probably Feb or March (before the BIG crowds:) We had a great time and actually left when the movie started. We had so much fun with the smores and everything else. I highly recommend it!!

We did this in the 80's when we stayed at FW twice when our children were small.

It was a very nice, lowkey way to end a day. We have fond memories of those evenings but I don't think I would bother unless I was staying at FW.

You need to take an internal bus to get there after you arrive at FW.
