Anyone been to Mickey's Back yard BBQ lately???

We are definitely going to do HDDR, but I also still have the BBQ reserved because I can't decide what to do. The reports are both very negative and very positive. We leave in 17 days. We will be staying the second half of our trip at AKL and that is where we will have to come from to do the Mickey's BBQ. I have a DD4 1/2 and DS 2 1/2 and we will be doing many other character meals. Should I do this or not???? Help !!!!!!!

With good character interaction my grandsons 5yo and 7yo had a great time if this is any help.This was 2 years ago but I didn't see anyone giving you a reply,I hope this helps a little,Maybe this will get your thread going and some more folks will reply.

I'm interested also. I have booked the BBQ for October without even asking any advice. I have never been to the Wilderness lodge and have been dying to see it. From the previous poster, it sounds good. I have two DS, 8 and 4 (almost 5).

We went to the BBQ last summer and are going again in October. We loved it. Great time for the kids, food was good and simply a great time. You hear so much negative but none from us. We went with kids and adults and will have a mix again and everyone enjoyed it.
