As we are not going to Disney this year we definitely want to visit Legoland. My son and husband are big lego fans and our house is full of it, literally. Just wondered if anyone has been end of August midweek before. Hoping crowds wont be too busy.
Also any suggestions on getting discounts welcome.
Thanks

We went last August (end of) and it was brilliant but it suffers pretty badly in the rain so my main bit of advice is go early. The drive is fine and it's easy to find, if there early there is no question of queuing for any rides which is fantastic. Our family are lego nuts as well and all loved it, it's a bit of a shame but it really looked too empty to keep going for that long, they should have built nearer to Orlando and from scratch rather than the old cypress site as it felt a little spaced out for a park.

We went twice in a two week period and might have gone more if we'd got the water park tickets as well. This year I think we'll get the 14 day ticket and as water parks are only £4 more I think, we'll get those too and probably go three times. Not seen any offers just yet so will wait to get tickets. Last year's were free with our Universal tickets.

Just found this for one day admission.

Might be upgradeable to multi day or annual but can't say for sure.

Thanks
Where did you get them free, was it with Attraction Tickets Direct>I think I remember seeing something on their site. We haven't bought our Universal Tickets yet so will leave incase there are any offers again.

I think it was. Given the low crowds I think there will be offers again just to get people in. It's such as shame that it's just too far away for a lot of people from the main attractions. With a few more people, they'd be able to pile some money into more features, it's a little sparse once you're there but still fun.

We went in 2012.

I remember it was a Monday mid August and it was deserted. Everything was a walk on and we were therefore done mid afternoon.

If you keep an eye out on the forums there's usually free adult tickets with each paying child offers around etc...

We did August midweek, very quite but very hot!!! Some of the rides were closed because the seats were too hot.

Not been yet but going in a few weeks and got 14 day tickets free from ATD with the purchase of other tickets. Worth keeping an eye out.

we went 2012, it was a great couple of days there... planning on going again a couple of days this year!

apple fries are a must!:thumbsup2

Where abouts do you look for these discounts? We are going next March and I want to start keeping my eyes open for deals.

I just got free LEGOLAND tickets from Attraction tickets direct when I bought Universal Tickets. They were £10 more than Travel Republic but I thought it was worth it to get 14 day LEGOLAND tickets. You could also get them by buying Disney/ SeaWorld etc.
