Anyone been to Hilton Head at Christmas time?

I will be visiting the Hilton Head resort for a week in December and I am wondering if anyone has stayed during the Christmas season? And what was your experience like? Any suggestions?

I know several people who have. We go every Thanksgiving and sometimes our trips go into December, but not until Christmas. The decorations are beautiful, I know-there already up at Thanksgivng. I'm at work, where Photobucket's blocked, otherwise I'd post some decoration photos. From what I hear, Christmas is a lovely time to be at the resort.

We have, a few years ago and had a great time. Lots of decorations. Felt very Christmassy to us. Would definitely go again at this time of year.
