Anyone been to Cheddars restaurant? whats it like?

It's one of our FAVORITE restaurants - though they are hard to find (unlike other chains that are staples in most cities). I always can't get over how darn reasonable the prices are.

My favorite is the bourbon glazed salmon - lunch portion with 2 sides is about $7. Now that's a deal!

Oh wow I am really looking forward to it now!!. It is across the freeway from a really great barbecue restaurant chain Rudys country store barbeque. Try it it you all get a chance and are driving by Texas. Its on 1-45 N in Spring

I love Rudy's!!! I was only in Texas a couple of times on business, but the gentleman I travelled with always took us to Rudy's. I'd like to go back to Texas just some of their beef brisket.

Yeah, I had some fish plate, I dont' remember which one, but it was less than $10 and REAL good..

ANd, yes, the one in Macon, Ga is closest to me, a little over an hr away, I didn't even realize it was a chain though....

I really like Cheddars, we have one in Wichita, KS. It is over on the northeast side of town so we really have to want to go over there, but it is so worth it. Chicken Tenders are wonderful, but we have to share because the portions are so large.

We used to go to the one in Springfield, MO, when we lived near there. We loved their huge bowl of onion straws appetizer. The closest one to us now is in Charlotte, NC, and we stopped by it on our way to a concert and were really disappointed to see that onion straws were no longer on the menu. Total bummer.

I know I'm in the minority, but I hate Cheddars! I agree that they give you lots of food at a reasonable price, but I have yet to find ANYTHING I like. I gave up after several trips.

Plus, I never like restaurants that charge you extra to bring bread to the table. It's bread, for heaven's sake!

Cheddars is awesome. They opened one close to my school. They have really good food for really cheap prices. It is the only place my husband will eat at and not whine about. It is his sized portions, which is good. The staff is also really nice and friendly. It is now our top restaurant to eat at.

Here's another Cheddar's fan. The food portions are huge and the price is right. Of course, the food is pretty good too. We used to go all the time.

Now I am so glad they are opening one close about 5 miles from my house. yay!!!
