My cousin and his wife are coming to visit this week, and we plan on hitting Blizzard Beach... We will be going mid-week if the weather cooperates...

I heard all the slides are open? true ?

What QS are open...

We are planning on renting a locker, and taking a few snacks and drinks along... I just don't want to have to haul the big cooler...

Anyone have an idea on price if we decide to rent a cabana or go the umbrella route?

Thanks as always... pixiedust:

There have been a number of Blizzard Beach threads since reopening. Until people answer I’d recommend doing a search or scrolling through the pages. Lots of helpful info there.

We went last week. As far as I could tell, all slides were open. The crowds were low on a Friday, and we really enjoyed a relaxing day. You may want to go ahead and book a cabana, if that is important to you. I’ve noticed sometimes they are booking up early. Same at Discovery Cove and Aquatica. A few of the food stands are still not open, but there are plenty of options for drinks and food, if you want to eat in the park. Have fun!

All slides are open.

Not all QS stands open--you can see on the Disney website or app by filtering for blizzard beach. The ones that are closed have "Temporarily Unavailable" in the name.

If you want a cabana or umbrella call ahead. Those sell out ahead. Not sure re umbrellas, but the cabana was about $240 when we went in March. It is variable/seasonal pricing though so may be more now in the summer. One thing that is handy is the cabana has a decent sized cooler and a (small--phone/wallet size) locker, so that can be really useful if you are planning to bring snacks. You wouldn't need drinks as they have an ice water dispenser and refillable soda mugs at the cabana.

Everything was open as far as slides go. Lottawatta, warming hut, cooling hut, and avalunch were open I think. Smaller stands were open with drinks, mini donuts, etc. We mobile ordered from lottawatta both days we were there. We had no issue finding seats in the shade. I think we were there 5/4 & 5/7. Great days.

We were thinking about the polar patio or whatever they are called, I tired to call yesterday but the wait was never less than 45 minutes...
We planned on paying for lockers, and for refillable soda mugs... so I will have to see today if I can get talk to a real person...

We are planning on staying all day, from 11 to 6, so it would be worth it.. plus we would split the cost... so even better.

Yeah phone line waits have been brutal lately. Just keep trying.

We stayed 11-4:15 those two days last week. I kept my phone in a waterproof pouch around my neck (from Amazon) and left a bag at our chairs with sunscreen, chapstick, etc. in it. We didn’t rent a locker bc we didn’t have valuables to lock up with us. (We have on previous trips.). We hardly went to our chairs. Mainly just for sunscreen reapplication. We primarily drank water fountain water on the go. So much fun!!

We went yesterday. I‘m pretty sure all of the slides were open and I found that there are a lot of food / drink places open. We had to mobile order lunch from Avalanche (Mac n Cheese hotdog anyone?). That was a little frustrating because we always leave our phones in the lockers. But overall, we had a great day at BB.

The one downside....no tubes in the wave pool! :crazy2: I thought that was weird because you sit in tubes or lay on mats for quite a few of the rides. I think the wave pool is way more fun with floaties.
