Anyone been to Artist Point for Thanskgiving or know anything about it?

We have decided to eat our Thanksgiving dinner at AP.

I was wondering if they serve just a turkey dinner or can you order from the regular menu? Turkey is soooooo boring and I don't want to go to AP to eat it! Can my DS order form the regular menu? I know he won't eat a typical thanksgiving meal.

We ate at AP several years ago for Thanksgiving. I had called and asked if they were serving their regular menu - they said yes. It was a MAJOR disappointment when we got there and all they had was preplated turkey dinners. Not bad, but not worth the $$ and DEFINITELY not what we wanted. It was the only time I let a disappointment get in the way of enjoying any part of WDW. I suggest making sure they have a full menu that night - they certainly could have changed since then.

Other meals at AP have been fabulous!

Artist Point is one of our favorite places to dine on property. The last time to eat there was this past Christmas Day. They had a special "tweaked" menu for Christmas Eve and Day. It included some of their regular items plus specially added appetizers, entrees and desserts. Goose was the featured entree for Christmas Day but they also had Beef Tenderloin, Salmon, Pork and other items. We asked if they would be doing the same type of thing for Thanksgiving this year. They said yes. Like disboo said, I would call and/or stop by AP just to be sure. Don't rely on the front desk or Disney dining for an answer. Enjoy your trip.
