Anyone been to a resort Restaurant for NYE before?

Can you tell me what it was like. I noticed that the Dolphin also gives you entrance to their Ball if you eat at Palios but that's $165 per person (incl the ball). Any other resorts that are good for NYE eating?

Sam, where did you get that information? We are trying to decide where we want to go also. Last year we went to the California Grill and had a great time. We are considering doing that again but would really like to try something different.

Though Palio may seem expensive, once you look at the other restaurants on NYE it might not be too bad. We have been looking for a place to eat as well and one was $500 a person! I think that for what you get at Palio's it sounds like a good deal.

Jeez $500 well then, yes, in that case Palios looks fantastic so does Shulas for that matter.

We've actually decided on the more humble option of Cape May Cafe for the Clam Bake for around 8 ish - figured that we could have a walk around the BW afterwards and wait to view the fireworks from the Bridge - that's if I'm not dead on my feet by then. We decided to leave the, what will be heaving, park of EPCOT early evening after seeing New Year in at UK, again if we're not too tired in the afternoon - we're lightweights what can I tell you.

I didn't have any trouble making any PS for my week 27 Dec - 3 Jan.

We ate at the Flying Fish for last New Year's Eve. It seems to me that we ordered off the menu, but I could be confusing that with other visits to there. Whatever we did, it was not ridiculously expensive. Our server told us that if you showed your Flying Fish receipt at the Dance Hall, the cover charge would be waived. We did and it was. We got there around 11 PM and the place was pratically empty as everyone was still in the parks. At midnight, we had spectacular view of the Epcot Fireworks from the second floor balcony.

We were down for the Millenium and had a wonderful dinner at the Castle. We got to see the fireworks while we were eating- it was so magical! I don't remember how much it cost for all of us but there wasn't a pre-set cost- just their regular menu.
