anyone been to a concert at Mohegan Sun arena?

HI,
Trying to purchase Rascal Flatts tickets and not sure where the best seats are.Most of them left are upper tier or behind the stage are some better than others? Thanks for any imput.

I went a few yrs ago. I was upper section straight back from the stage. It wasn't that bad. you could see the whole stage, and your not as far away as some arenas. The people on stage aren't like little ants ..lol If I couldn't get right in front, i would have no problem sitting uppersection straight across from the stage again.

Pretty much every seat at Mohegan Sun is a good seat. If you can manage to get Lower Level seats....go for it!! I often find the Floor Seats aren't the best because there are tons of heads in front of you!! I LOVE the Lower Level Seats at Mohegan!! Can't wait for the Rascal Flatts show...and the Brad Paisley show in August!! YAY!!

The Arena isn't that big, and they have the screens so you can see up close. BUT, I hate the acoustics there. We have been to several concerts and have decided not to go back for any at the Arena. We love their Cabaret theatre and the casino itself but if we're going to spend money on concert tickets we would rather buy seats at Oakdale/Chevrolet Theatre. MUCH better seating and acoustics.

Yes I have. DH surprized me with tickets to see Tim McGraw and we were in the nosebleed section. I wouldn't recommend being up that high - it doesn't seem too far away from the stage until the band comes out - then you realize how far away you are. I do have to agree that the acoustics are terrible...

I saw Rascal Flatts (opened for Kenny Chesney) a few summers back at Great Woods and THEY WERE AWESOME! You will not regret going, so get the best seats you can and enjoy!

I have been there once. Yes it is a small venue. However it goes straight up and if you are afraid of heights, you won't like the seats. I sat down and it killed me to go down again, my legs were shaking. I have been told (I go there to gamble) that Mohegan saves the good seats for their "gamblers". My sister did go and complain when we were there because the equipment in the air was blocking our view of the stage. They gave us other seats and we were very close to the stage. I will never bother going there again.
