Touring Plans predicts that the crowd level for the day we will be at Universal Island of Adventure (December 18th) will be a 6. Anyone have an idea of how crowded HPW will be if it's a 6?

I was there and it was a level6 this past August.it was busy.Wait times in standby mid day were 90 mins for Forbidden Journey( it was 60 mins right after early entry), 90 mins Despicable me, 60 mins Spiderman .

Where are the crowd levels posted? We'll be there Dec 11th-12th, (but are staying onsite, if that matters). Thanks!

I can't see it being very busy before Christmas week. Early December has some of the lowest crowds of the year.

The 18th isn't early Dec. though. Many schools are out by the 16th for a 2 week break.

If you look at the hotel APH rates, they are still really low for that time. To me, that means the hotels are not anticipating really large crowds and hotel occupancy.

Also, the express passes are about mid range in price for that day. They are $55 compared to $119 for the next week for the two park one day pass.

True Damo , but when I went in August it was not peak season either, it was the start of value and it was forecasted a level 6, and tbh it felt like it.It was busy

I imagine this August was pretty busy since Transformers had just opened.

I don't trust those crowd predictors at all. I've never had any luck with them. I tend to go by the express pass and APH prices more than anything.

If I had to predict, I would think that crowds would be moderate on Dec. 18, lol. Probably not as busy as the end of this past August.
