Anyone been on the "A Walk in Walt's Footsteps" tour?

DH and I are wanting to do a tour and we thought that one sounds great (especially getting into the lobby of Club 33 - my DH's dream is to be a member!). Was it worth the $$$? We were also thinking about doing the "Welcome to Disneyland" tour too. Is one better than the other? Thanks!

I did the Walt's Footsteps tour last summer with my Mom - I thought it was fantastic - definitely worth the money, especially to see the lobby of Club 33. You also get a pin. I haven't done the other one, so I can't comment on that - but I did really enjoy the Walt's tour.

We love the Walk in Walt's Footsteps. Even for Disney trivia fans...there will be info on this tour that you may not have heard. We found it very fascinating!! It really was special stepping into the lobby of Club 33. The lunch after the tour was also very good.

We did the Welcome to Disneyland tour in 2005 & I can tell you we got run all over the place....chasing the tour guide at times. You turbo-tour both parks, ride a couple rides & get a couple of FP's. We enjoyed it but we'd do the WiWF tour 10 times again before doing that one!

Do they go over the different details that were designed for children only to notice due to their height and how adults would see it differently? I am debating about doing this tour in September but that is the stuff I am most curious about. They really pushed that information when I was in the College Program at WDW and I wanted to see those details in person this time.

I don't recall that.....just the forced perspective on Main Street. That would be very fascinating!!

Does anyone know if there are custom tours? I like the WWF tour the best out of the options they have on their website, but it would be fun to have a know it all CM to show us around off the beaten path so to speak. Every review I have read about WWF has been extremely positive so it has to be a great tour!
