Anyone been given a Travel Wiz # when merging reservations?

Needed to add a night to my reservation and the website was still acting up. Got the room booked and called to merge reservation. Agent gave me a Travel Wiz confirmation number and said to use it if I called in with questions, and that my reservation was linked. Anyone else had experience with this?

It's a "travel with" number to reference two or more parties in separate rooms but traveling together. Will alert the room assignments to be close to each other.

You need a "continuing reservation" notation made on your reservations. As long as you have the same room category booked they will add the continuing note and try to keep you in the same room, but no guarantees that you will not have to move. I have seem CMs also label these with the "travel with" number, but it would be better to have "continuing reservation" noted. Even if in the same room you will have to check out/check in for the next reservation.

Is this something new? In the past they combined two reservations under one number. Can they not do that anymore?
