anyone been afraid of normal things?

Yeah, "fear" isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I look at that picture. Whew.

Frankly, I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that I spent roughly 5 hours a day throughout my junior high/high school years surrounded by men clad thusly. The practices kind of sucked, but the scenery was top-notch.

I would be in HEAVEN! popcorn::

Funny I doubt that there will be NO MEN admitting a fear of women in skimpy bathings suits... :)

My fear is being in water and not being able to touch the bottom. I just feel like something will grab me and pull me under. It is even worse when we are at the beach, I will have a full blown panic attack if it gets to deep. My husband once tried to get me to go to the deep area and all I imagine is the begining part of jaws were you see the girl swimming and its watching her from below, I even get scared watching people swim in the deep water.

OK, I covered the "bottom half" of the pic with my month-end report (best use of that thing) and I liked it a LOT more... :upsidedow

Fear is something I specialize in.

My #1 fear is ELEVATORS! I have walked up as much as 21 flights of stairs to avoid an elevator. On our last cruise, I tried three times to get into one of the glass enclosed ones and just couldn't do it. I'm sure the security camera people had a blast laughing at me going in and out and finally giving up. I'm even afraid of other people being on elevators!

My #2 fear is any enclosed spaces. When I go into a stairwell, I spend countless minutes "testing" the door to make sure it will open once I get on the other side. I also can not lock myself inside a bathroom, so if I'm in a public restroom that doesn't have separate stalls I'm taking a chance that no one walks in on me because I'm not locking that door.

My #3 fear is a mouse/rat. I can't see them dead or alive. I even scream when I walk up on empty mousetraps (including those still in the pack at a store)

Other fears:
Sewer grates - refuse to walk over them.
Biscuit cans - refuse to open them. Thank God for those frozen biscuits!
Throwing up - Have figured out that rubbing ice on my stomach helps!
Sleeping in the dark when I'm alone - Have to keep the television on.
My mailbox - That's where the bills are!

When i have to go up the stairs at my house and everything is dark downstairs, i feel like there's a monster who is going to take me away lol

I am terrified of mirrors at night. I actually made DH remove the mirror in the bedroom because I couldn't sleep with it in here!

I'm sort of the same way. For me, it's that I can see a reflection but since it's dark I can't see that it's just me and it scares me.

We should start a support group. There are a lot of us out there!!!!!!

My son is a total puker! It doesn't take much to push him over the edge and seeing someone else puke totally does it. We were waiting in line for the bus at Pop when a teenage boy puked right in front of the bus stop! DS's eyes got really big and he turned white. I whipped around so he wasn't facing it and said- Just breath! He was heaving! People near us in line were looking worried!:rotfl2:
