Just curious if anyone on the Dis was there. I was at the third premiere and wanted to attend this one, but being 7 months pregnant, DH wouldn't go for me doing it! :)

I was hoping to hear about it and see pics if anyone has any.

Nope- but DD and I are watching Cry-Baby tonight to get our Johnny Depp fix...:rotfl:

No, wasn't there - but I did watch the live stream on visionsfantastic. They did a great job.

Kinda...I was at DL yesterday but didnt stay for the "black carpet." My DD wanted to take me to DL for Mothers Day :). Im fine with it though, Im not a fan of POTC

I was at premier#3 also, but didn't make it to #4 yeterday. I watched the live stream too. I sure liked the red carpet more than the black one. It was almost the same color as the street and didn't really show up much. All the signs that I saw were black also. #3 was much more colorful! Everyone had bleachers to sit in this time. Lucky people! We sat on the curb for 15 hours at the the #3 premier!

I just spoke on the phone to an excited Funball. She just met Jodie Foster who is visiting DL today.

We did not make it to the premiere, but were staying at the Grand. There was security everywhere. Before the premiere many of the producers/directors/writers seemed to be gathering at the Lounge. It was interesting to just sit and people watch. We also saw Jodie Foster leaving yesterday. She seems so down to earth. It was interesting to see celebs hanging at the hotel, but I could go without the crowds or pre-screening before getting on the elevators.

I wanted to go but DD11 had a softball game at 9 a.m. I thought we might still go and get there about noon. Then her team scheduled their end of the season party for the same night at 5 p.m. Guess it wasn't in the cards. Maybe we'll make it to the 5th!;)

We didn't stay around to watch the 'black carpet' but we were there Saturday. We thought the crowds would be insane but it was actually pretty light, especially toward 5 when people started heading to DCA (and was downright empty come 5). DCA was really crowded in the evening, though.

We watched the black carpet for a bit. Some neat performers and such. And we got free Pirate Mickey ears :thumbsup2 . We weren't looking forward to sharing our day with the premier, but it turned out to be pretty neat to see all the hub-bub (the stage, seats, piles of supplies like 3D glasses, fleece blankets, Pirate Booty).

Great to see they had bleachers for everyone this time around. I remember at one point having to stand up on one of the barricades because there were so many people there. From what I saw on E! News, it didn't look as packed as the third one. I can't believe I missed Kermit the Frog interviewing Johnny Depp and Steven Tyler!

We were at the Grand and saw tons of celebs! Adam Sandler, Andy Garcia, Lisa Rhinna and Harry Hamlin...
There were security guards everywhere. We had to show our room key each time we entered the lobby.
DL was pretty messy. The path in front of ROA was narrow and hard to navigate. Main Street was also hard to pass through. We ended up spending most of the day at CA and the Grand pools.
We also saw a Real Housewife of OC (Alexis) and her hubby at Ridemakerz for their sons' bday.
