Anyone at Universal last night?

Anyone catch a bead necklace from the DIS unplugged float last night I wasnt there but was thinking about the Mardi Gra parade with the podcast crew! I am sure it was a blast.

I was at the parade and had a spot right by mama mel's. I saw the alligator float but I couldn't spot the podcast crew. There were a lot of people by the float.

I ventured over to the pat bennetar concert and it was a complete mess. There was NO crowd control at all, people going in every direction, it wasn't worth it. So I left and went to citywalk.

The rising star was fun. That's a concept that while expensive on labor, could really expand nationwide.

Went to the Groove to meet kingbobofthenorth. I had hoped the DJ would slip into some techno as he did last week, but he didn't and I left shortly after midnight.

I just saw the photos on Pete's blog. OMG!!!! I swear I was laughing and having a good time. Apparently when this photo was taken I was having a off moment. ( note to self, smile at all times when riding a float!!!)

I was there for the parade and concert. Pete had a tangled mess with is beads when he went past us . I was standing right on the curb and yelled his name but he did not hear us .

The concert was packed, the new stage is closer then what the temporary stage has been in the past. For some reason people thought they could exit by going down the street instead of going around Mel's like all the signs told them to do. I got pushed onto a poor lady in a wheel chair trying to go through the crowd. I didn't even know she was behind me. I apologized but she didn't hear me.

There was a private party that took up the street by the Blues Brothers and they all had a section reserved next to Jimmy Neutron for the concert. We had a parking spot on the top floor and still made it home by 10:30
