Hi all

Is Anyone at Aulani in the next three weeks? As I was wondering if you could do me a very small favor please?:thumbsup2

I am still stressing about my casabella bookings (I have the two reserved on the upper level at Ama ama) for several days and I don't want to hold the bookings and prevent others from enjoying them if they won't actualy be suitable for us to use.

I wondered if anyone there now or shortly might be willing to just pop by the area at some point (ideally in both the morning and afternoon:blush:) to tell me if the area is shaded or in the sun please?:thumbsup2

I am a sun worshipper, so a shaded spot would be pointless for me and would mean I will cancel my reservations now and free them up for someone else to enjoy :thumbsup2

Many thanks for any help- I'd really appreciate it ::yes::

I have been there at different times...summer and spring.
It is shaded most of the day...a little bit of sun peeks through in the late afternoon, but that is it. There are trees directly in front and to the left of the casabella decks that make it so shady.
If you want to have a seat in the sun, grab a chair on the Ama Ama deck that is in the sun. You can get one that is really close to the deck.

I'm looking at booking the Executive Lanai. Is this in the sun most of the day? We were at Aulani in 2012 and I don't think they had the Executive Lanai at that time. We had my FIL and Mom with us so we rented a cabana multiple days. This was during the construction of the new pool area.

The Executive Lanai has quite a bit of sun. The only shade is provided by the casabellas or the 2 umbrellas on the lanai.

The executive lanai is full sun. We could only stand being there until 2pm and then the casabellas which get no breeze at all were stifling. I lie the sun but we opted out of a second day due to no breeze.
