Anyone an LPN/RN??

My girlfriend is an LPN, living in NYS. And will be moving to another state soon. (not sure which until next) But she is worried that her license is not transferrable. Is this true? I am sure it works state to state. But in General how does the process work of becoming registered in another state if you are already registered in another??

I believe all she has to do is contact the state board of nursing (where she will transfer to) and see what requirements are needed. Usually there is a website with all the information on it. She can google the state name and board of nursing to get to their site. Shouldnt be to difficult. A fee will be required to get the new license, sometimes you need to be fingerprinted, depends on the state.
