Anyone actually receive the new planner?

No planner yet in Maryland. Received my dues statement toward the end of December.

Here is the email received from DVC:

Thank you for contacting Member Services. The 2008-2009 Vacation
Planners were mailed out to all Members at the end of December 2007. If
you do not receive yours by the end of January, please call Member
services at x-xxx-xxx-xxxx and we will request a new copy be mailed out
to you.

We have not received our book yet. But disboards has the 2008 point value.

That's not the issue. All of us can figure out the points for '08 and '09. It's just that the planner is not usually this late. There are other programs that have changed this year, and that is what most of us are anxious to read about.

No planner yet for me either here in western Massachusetts. I did receive the pretty card around Christmas; and of course the dues statement came. I spoke with member services today for a reservation matter and, once I got through (took 10 min on hold), I was told to look for them by the end of this month and to call back if I didn't get mine by then. This is consistent with several other posts. Regards to all...Mary

Unless you have already gotten your planner, you will have to wail until after a new printing is completed on January 26th. The planners will be sent out after that.

This information is available by calling the Quality Assurance phone number, (800)782-6767 or (407) 827-4743.

Sorry :sad1:

Thanks for the update. :)

I wonder why a second printing was needed.

I wonder why a second printing was needed.

My guess it is partly due to the paragraph under the DLP points chart stating that the points per night included tickets for each day of your stay, something that was not supposed to be there due to the change in the point chart for Paris. This chart was only up on the member site for a couple of days until someone at DVC found the mistake and had the chart removed, and if the planner included the same chart, DVC could no afford to live up to that paragraph, easier to scrap the misprinted planners and start over. I could be wrong of course:confused3

Wow, someone has some explaining to do!

Nah, they got that part fixed. It says that you must purchase length of stay tickets for the number of registered guests.
I'd go back to my original guess/finding, pages were omitted and other pages were duplicated.

Yes, I think that's right. We had reports of that around here too.

I think the during the reprinting the title "DVC 2008 Planner" should be changed to "DVC 2008 Diary".

By the time we get it, we can record what we all did in 2008. :yay:

No kidding....:rotfl:

Maybe I'll try to pick one up from the DVC center at DLR when I go this month.
