Hi All,

I saw the DIS headlines about the new Chase Disney Visa offer in regards to Deluxe Villas. However, I don't see it listed on the specials page on the Disney Travel site. I have requested a quote from DU but yet to hear back from anyone with a price. Just wondering if others have had success with this offer and if so I would love to hear the rate you are getting.

Thanks so much!

I would like to know also. I really prefer checking and playing around with booking online myself to get some estimates but it doesn't have that option.

Can you link the offer you saw?

What are the dates for the offer? I have a Disney Visa and they usually post on their website as soon as an offer is available. I think the most recent one I saw was for dates ending in spring 2016. They have since taken that down and I am waiting for something to become available for August 2016.

They sent the offer via email the same day Disney released the spring/early summer discounts. Perhaps check your spam/junk folders on your email or be sure you allow marketing emails to be sent to you. I called and there wasn't anything available for my dates (late April). I made a point to ask three times if she was including the Visa special with her search and none of the Villa specials were available. None. Very surprised, as it was literally one day after the email was sent to me.

Call back and try again. Some CMs are better than others applying codes. You may also want to see if other dates are available if you are flexible.

"Save 35% at Deluxe Villa resorts!

Discount available for stays most nights 4/3-6/30/16.

Disney Visa cardholders can save 35% when booking a reservation at a Disney Deluxe Villa resort. Purchase a Magic Your Way room and ticket package with minimum 4-day theme park tickets and get an additional ticket day free!

Book by 2/28/16. Advance reservations are required. Deposit must be made with a Disney Visa card. Offer available at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. All discounts are subject to availability, certain restrictions apply."

Seems to happen often with these discounts. ..Disney releases them and there is no availability. So disappointing!

I already have an existing room only at Polynesian in May. My TA called ASAP the morning the new deals were released to see if I could apply them (Disney one or Disney Visa one) to my reservation or switch room categories to take advantage and she was told no availability for anything! I also have an AP, but my TA says that since there's nothing available in the general population deals it is very unlikely anything will come up for an AP discount! Why does Disney even go to the expense to advertise all these deals (not AP) if they have no intention of honoring it at all? I'm a bit annoyed to say the least!

Posters on other threads have mentioned CEO Bob Iger's intent to "wean" guests off of discounts. He doesn't feel they're necessary anymore. I guess it's better marketing strategy than eliminating everything all at once.

It does seem like the pool of discounted rooms has gotten almost non-existent at times.

I agree. It seems discounts are harder to come by. Disney is pushing high end rooms with limited availability.

I got a 30% off Boardwalk for June 16 -20 on Monday with this offer but still super expensive. Hoping for a better offer....

Hi, can you tell me where to find this info, I have a new disney visa and I'm not sure where to be looking periodically :) thanks

My TA checked all possible room options at the Polynesian to be able to get a discount (both general public and DIsney Visa) and she did this the morning that the offers were released and nothing was available.

If Bob Iger does not feel discounts are necessary, I see a sharp decline for onsite reservations, length of stays will shorten, and food purchases might also see reduction. Perhaps that is the intention? There are many offsite options that are bigger, higher end, and much less expensive. Since resort cost is the largest expenditure, that's where I would take the cut.
