I have lost my keys. They've been gone for over a week so I don't think they're going to turn up anytime soon.
I called one dealership today and was quoted a price of $225 for my car (nothing fancy).
I've done some checking and found I can order the key blank online (exactly like mine), but I will have to have it programmed at the dealership. Is there much savings in buying the blank elsewhere and then just having it cut and programmed?
PSA: If you have a Ford vehicle with this type of key (remote in the head of the key), it would be worth your while to purchase an extra because as long as you have two keys, you can program the new key yourself (just have it cut at a locksmith).
