I'm not sure how to contact the people that have driven to WDW from New Hampster but aren't reading this so I'll ask you

we're driving down this year, haven't been on a road trip in years, anyway, I've mapped out our route and am curious to see if anyone else has gone this way

first we are taking a right, then a left and another right, then a left, right left for a few hundred miles, then a left, right, left and hopefully this will bring us right to Old Key West, which is would be great except we're staying at the Boardwalk, I figure we can just take a bus from there

I would appresiate any info on hotels, motels and places to eat thanks

also

I was watching Batman and the Penguin kidnapped Alfred and threatened to make a Giant Butler Pie, well Batman and Robin showed up pretty quickly and saved Alfred, too quickly in fact because I never got the recipe for the Giant Butler Pie, if anyone taped this can you send me the recipe?

thanks

ps Howdy DIS folks

I would post this on the transportation board. They may be able to give suggestions on places to stop and eat and hotels along the way.

I'm sure it will be moved for him.
hee hee *snort* hee hee hee........... ;)

As far as that recipe goes, if you have the recipe for four-and-twenty blackbirds baked in a pie, you just substitute a giant butler for the blackbirds. You could also use a regular sized butler and the only difference will be a bit less meat in your pie.....a good recipe for those who are semi-vegetarian.

By the way, it's very nice to see you ran. :)

lessee, from CT I take a right, a right for several hundred miles, then a right, a right, and a right which brings me to the Dolphin, which is alright because I take all rights ;)

I usually stick with Hampton Inns and Waffle Houses or McDonalds on the way.

Sorry, didn't tape the Batman episode...

Hiya Ran

Hi Ran!

Just follow the yellow brick road, and you'll be fine!

Isn't it a right after the second star, or is a left at the second star on the right, or is it....well, nevermind...I always fly....and I can definately tel you how to get to MHT.

Sorry. All my traveling starts in New Guinea Pig, so I wouldn't be any help.

We take almost the exact same route from New Gerbil except we don't watch Batman and prefer cake.

Good to see you Ran!

i want to thank you folks for your imput, but on further review it appears I left out the most important left and we will apparently be spending our vacation in Baffin Bay, this won't be pretty ,Deb can't speak Canadian and I can't swim, plus I'm horrified of penguins, the fact that they are 9 or 10 thousand miles away just makes it that much more frightening

HauntedMansionGeek: I tried the four and twenty blackbirds thingie and well...the third blackbird got away, by the time I caught him I wasn't sure if I still had four and twenty blackbirds or three and twentyone blackbirds or even five and nineteen blackbirds so I had to start over...wiithout going into pointless detail, they(the blackbirds) are starting to drive everyone crazy(not everyone really, just us) I tried putting my name on the nation wide DO NOT CAW list to no avail, please advise and as always it's nice to see you ;-_), glad to see your smilies

PandyPaws: thanks for the info, where's Conn-ec-ti-cutt?
ps Hiya PandyPaws

Blondie: how are you? how's Mom? tell her I said hi, don't get here much anymore(sigh), but when I do I think of you

Boo'sMom: I love MHT, too bad it will be like Logan in 5 years, aren't we semi-neighbors? I just moved to Conway last month

Breezy_Carol & RoutemanDan: I got the same response from some other guys last week only they talked to me very slowly and had tranquilizer guns

Hi Ran, I don't have the map you need, but I hope you get where you're going. ;)

It's so nice to see you. :teeth:

I guess I'm doing okay....passed the first part of my cardiac testing, so I guess I'll live.;) And Mom is doing well too! Thank you so much for asking! Don't be a stranger! :smooth: And enjoy living in Conway, you know I love it there!

Ran!!! You again????? ;)

I'm not real good with directions, so I look for a tree with moss and figure that's north and head the opposite way to get to FL. Then I look for the smell of popcorn, body odor and emu legs and head in that direction! :p

I was in your lovely state in May. Is Manchester the Harley Davidson capital of the world????? I have NEVER seen so many motorcycles and so weird to see no helmets.

Good to see you bud and hope you visit more often!
Hugs
Cathy

I just look for the Brazillion (or should I say Bazillian?) tour group flags and listen for the non-stop chanting.

***But more importantly Ran, can Deb speak BAFFIN? and can you at least FLOAT?

***Face it Ran, yer gonna have to deal with close proximity to penguins at some point....heck, I think I recall your next recipe at cooking class next week being Four And Twenty Penguins Baked In A Custard.....so.....get a grip man.............

***well.......DUH!!! Crazy doesn't just HAPPEN, usually. Except for people like us. DUH!!!

I tried putting my name on the nation wide DO NOT CAW list to no avail,

***sigh* I know, I know...they keep ruffling my feathers with their constant interruptions too. They ALWAYS call when I'm plucking my penguins. How annoying is that? (besides the noise those featherless penguins make I mean.)

please advise and as always it's nice to see you ;-_), glad to see your smilies

Hi Serena!!! hope all is well with you :-)

CathyCanada: we do see a lot of bikes here in the summer, probably the no helmet law has something to do with that, hope you enjoyed your visit, you didn't drive down through North Conway did you?

I <3 Eeyore: I still think Live Free and Die Anyway is a better motto but I don't think it would fit on the license plate

HauntedMansionGeek: ***But more importantly Ran, can Deb speak BAFFIN? and can you at least FLOAT?

does Deb speak Baffinese ? pshaw of course not...yet, but I signed her up for a class, unfortunately I read the matchbook wrong and she's going to learn Balinese, which is going to require at least three(3) more rights and two lefts plus we'll need some some sort of pontoon deal and it's going to cost us a fortune in suntan lotion.

and sure I CAN float but Deb being a Yankee and all will just suggest saving money by just buying one pontoon, I don't think I need to draw you a picture

Quote "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men."

we must indeed be wise

and once more I extend an invitation to any and all visitors to the Mount Washington Valley to stop in the Flatbread Company and say howdy, I'll buy you a Flatbread, don't be frightened, I'm slightly more normal than I should have any right to suggest

But are you WILLING to draw me a picture? I'd really like to see one.

Preferrably in pretty blues and hot pinks, if you could. *MAYBE with a touch of puce here and there, ok?*

Golly Ned, what a nice invite. I can't make it this weekend, but how does next weekend look?
Will you buy me TWO flatbreads? I like to wear them for hats.

A pair makes a great bikini.

A bikini AND a snack, all in one.

Come to think of it, I need directions. And since I'll be riding my Riva Scooter, it might take me more than a week to get there.

How does next fall look to you?

See you then Ran! I look forward to it.
