Man, I sure do. I saw Tapestry probably 20 or so times, over the 4 or 5 years it ran, Nations (better IMO) and Dreams. It gave me chills and such an uplift every time I saw it, tears so very often. I loved the CM interaction, especially with the kids, handicapped (in chairs, etc) and the elderly. They were wonderful (UGH, I am get emotional typing this and listening to the video in the background  ) I was so very sad to see it go.

How about you?

This link is to a 30 minute video, a HUGE file, probably very tough on a dialup, easy on highspeed.

I agree. We only expierenced Tapesty of Dreams, once, but it was magical for us. We saw it on our first night of our first Disney vacation with the kids, then 4 and 6. What a beautiful parade!! The music, the performers, everything. I am getting teary remembering my kids faces watching that, their first experience at Disney. It also turned my DH into a Disney lover, and set the tone for our whole vacation. Even though we only saw it once, I will miss it dearly.

Thanks for the beautiful video, Dan. I'm watching it now :D

I had to fight back the tears... I miss that parade dearly.

I LOVE this parade!!::yes:: I wish Epcot would bring it back so badly!!! Can't figure out why they took it away in the first place. The music to it is just so moving.............everytime we place the soundtrack, I can see the whole parade in my mind (and this has been known to make me make a wrong turn once or twice when we play it in the van!! )

oh, thank you Dan. I can't watch it right now because I am so emotional as it is, I know I'm going to come unglued during Illuminations next week due to my recent loss it always makes me cry as it is, but I miss TON so much it was the only parade I ever loved and that was as you say because of the interaction with the CM's and the crowd.

My child got picked to dance in the parade for a long time, we have movies, it still makes me cry.

I felt the parade brought us all closer to one another. I felt race, creed, age did not matter when I watched that parade. The colors were fantastic.

I wish there could be a parade in WS again. It could be different but bringing everyone together would be wonderful.

We LOVED it! We were lucky enough to see the very first parade and it instantly became a favorite. It was our first trip to Disney, therefore was a very special memory that we talk about each visit. After Illuminations, as we are walking out, we hear the music from Tapestry playing over the PA. It makes us teary and feel warm and fuzzy all over. Please Disney, bring it back!

Wasn't World Showcase so alive during the Millenium Celebration when there were THREE Tapestries running at the same time!? It slowly faded away, first being reduced to two, then dropping some of the best parts in its reincarnation as Tapestry of Dreams, then dropping down to just one segment before it finally vanished. It was timeless and could have gone on for years and years. Too bad Disney didn't agree. It is amongst the things we miss the most. Taking the slow stroll out of Epcot at night, we get reminded of what "once was" now with only the music. It's bittersweet to hear it. We listen to it all the time in the car, but hearing at Epcot brings the memories alive.

Help....what does this mean and how do I fix it....I want to watch tooooo................

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").

Can someone just type the URL for me so that I can copy and paste it in to my browser....maybe that will help.

Thanks.

As I sit here listening to the ToN soundtrack, I really find myself missing the parade more and more. There are a lot of rumors why the parade was cancelled (budget, safety concerns, etc.), but the fact is that WDW received a LOT of complaints when the parade ended. Hopefully they'll bring it back some day!

If you go to the link for the site, this one http://ww2.disneydreams.net:8080/default.aspx , go to the Sound & Video section and then look for the Tapestry link.

So very right, gcurling, it was sad to see/hear it slowly slip away over the years. :( Abd yes, bittersweet to listen to at the end of the day in Epcot.

That was my favorite parade. I liked TON better than TOD. I missed the Sage of Time at the beginning when it switched to TOD. We hang around after Illuminations just to hear the music. There's something special about hearing it while we exiting the park. We listen to the cd all the time. Wish they would bring it back.

Oh thank you Dan...we have never seen Tapestry.... one of my deepest regrets. DD was crushed when we learned it was gone as it was one of those, "we'll see it next trip" promises. You have just made that promise possible! Thank you so VERY much!

Pam and DD and all the family

I guess Disney didn't feel it brought people to the park. Like Illuminations and MK parade.

I remember when it use to go all the way around

Then it went half way then back at the 2nd

Then down to just half of the half when it finally ended.

My DM and I absolutly loved the parade. Being a drummer in school was just fun watching the spinning drums being played.
